Global airlines are set to ramp up spending on aircraft MRO with total expenditure projected to hit US$153 billion by 2035 with Asia Pacific leading the market, according to Alton Aviation Consultancy

Airlines worldwide are expected to spend more on maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) of their airplanes as more people continue to travel.

The spending for MRO activity alone is forecasted to be from US$127 billion in 2025 to US$153 billion in 2035, according to Alton Aviation Consultancy’s 2025-2035 MRO Demand Forecast report.
